(working on Daddy's card)
Clint loves his daddy. He gets excited when he comes home from work, he likes his truck and lawn mower (( vroom, vroom!!)), and he loves going outside with him. I'm so blessed to have married a man that makes such a good godly role model for my children!
I'm also blessed to still have my daddy alive and well. My mom couldn't say that when she was my age and I know of a couple of people who will be spending Father's Day this year for the first time without a dad. My heart goes out to them and I pray they'll receive an extra blessing tomorrow from their Heavenly Father. He truly loves us more than any human can or will!

I think this is the first pregnancy picture I've put on here this time around. This one was taken yesterday at the NC Zoo. Clint and I have been spending the past 2 weeks up here with my parents since most of our church meetings this month have been scheduled around here. Hubby has been driving back and forth in between meetings due to still working his lawn care business. Where he gets all that energy, I have no clue.
Our missions deputation has been going really well and we're humbled at how good God's people have treated us thus far. Yes, it DOES get tiring doing all this traveling while pregnant and taking care of a 14 month old, but God has given us the strength. We had/have 169 meetings booked for 2011 and that includes a 4-5 week trip out west at the end of the year. That should be VERY interesting with 2 little boys. :)
Thanks for being patient with me during my sporadic blog posting! Hope to share pics of our newest addition SOON!

Greetings from NC! Just stopping by my parents' house for a quick visit before heading up to WV for a couple of church meetings. It's been 2 months since they've seen Clint so they're giving him a ton of spoiling. :)
Time for Easter pics!

1) I haven't written a blog post.
2) I've turned another year older ( 30 is getting too close for comfort...)
3) Clint's top 2 teeth have finally decided to come through
4) Hubby has started getting busy with his lawn care business.
5) I broke down and finally turned on the AC ( an 85 degree house was just too hot for this pregnant woman to sleep in )
6) Hubby and I completed mini orientation at our mission board
7) I got my hair done as a birthday gift.
8) I found out that I'm going to be an aunt to a NEPHEW! Yay! This makes 3 grandsons for Dad and Mom. Also, my 3 cousins that are/were expecting this year are all having boys. You would think we had something against girls, aye?? :)
9) Hubby's brother got engaged. Looking forward to attending the wedding this fall!! ( Lord willing )

Spring is finally here and I'm so excited! Spring for me means clothes drying on the line outside, warmer weather, staying light outside longer, flip-flops, short sleeves, my birthday ( I'm getting sooooooo old! ), jelly beans, springtime Oreos,......how did I get started on food?? Oh, yeah.....I'm pregnant. :)
Nothing much new is going on around here. I did have my monthly baby check-up a few days ago and thank the Lord, everything still seems to be fine. Won't be long now and I'll be going every 2 weeks. :)
I did try a homemade dishwasher detergent recently, but I'm not sure if I'm totally happy about it. It tends to make my dishes cloudy. Has anyone else had that problem? The recipe I used called for 1 part Borax and 1 part washing soda. I've had streaky dishes before with name brand stuff from the store so what is the lesser of the 2 evils? Eating/drinking out of cloudy dishes from the store brand or from the stuff you make at home? *sigh* They both sound distasteful to me.
Speaking of recipes, I do have a pizza crust recipe that I'm quite happy with. "Happy" because this one actually rises for me. :) You can look it over to see if it's something that would be worth a try. (NOTE: I do make it with 3 1/4 C of white whole wheat flour instead of part wheat/part all-purpose. I also increase the salt to 2 tsp instead of 1 tsp ).
Clint and I also put up a bunch of organic carrots I got free the other day. I peeled, chopped, cooked, pureed, and froze them while he sat on the floor playing with the peelings. :) Some of them will be used for part of Clint's lunch and the rest for various recipes in the near future.
All for now! Need to hang a load of clothes on the line before it gets too late.

It's seems like one post a week is all I'm giving you lately, but I guess it's better than nothing. :)
We're still staying busy traveling while on deputation and we currently have 8% of the funds raised for the ministry in New Mexico. God has continued to give us traveling mercies and has provided the funds for our every expense ( aren't these gas prices crazy? ). We hope to move out there sometime next summer.
I took Clint to his 12 month check-up today and he made it well known that he NO longer likes doctors. On top of that he had to have some blood work done. Poor kid! :( Never fear! He soon forgot all about it and was back to tearing the house up once we returned home. :)
On the way back from the Dr. I stopped in at Hobby Lobby to see if there was anything I wanted to spend my gift card on. My parents had given it to me at Christmas so yes, I can be slow when it comes to spending gift cards. :) Lo and behold, I did find a couple of western wall hangings for the living room and some western wall clings that were 80% off. I'll probably end up putting those in the boys' room and possibly in the hall bath. I love decorating!
I also stopped by Kroger and got the 30 items pictured below for tax ONLY. Can't beat that, aye?I think that's about all the news for now..........our baby is due just 4 months from today. We're really looking forward to meeting the little guy! :)

Clint's birthday is just a few days away, but we went ahead and celebrated it early due to us being out of town on the day of.
We got a Build-a-Bear certificate over Christmas, but I just got around to taking Clint there here recently. He is pictured above with his doggie.......not really a birthday present, but I thought it was too cute to not share with ya'll. :)

Clint is taking a nap now so I'm taking advantage of the quiet house and typing this blog post. First of all, I want to thank everyone who prayed for my specialist ultrasound appointment. I went this past Friday afternoon and everything looked great to them. Thank God! Between my past miscarriage, our wreck, and this "scare", I've learned to NEVER take a healthy pregnancy for granted.
Other recent happenings include a bout with a head cold/allergies........to those who suffer with this constantly, I feel for you! I am SO tired of blowing my nose!! :) I am enjoying the warmer weather though. It made it to the 80's yesterday.
We also experienced one of those "I can't believe this is happening to me" days over the weekend. Hubby decided to burn some brush Saturday morning, but a slight wind took over and we ended up having to call the fire department. While they were putting out the fire, they discovered a slightly burnt purse and questioned Hubby about it. We've never seen it before in our lives and assumed that it probably belonged to someone in the double-wide park behind us. The police came anyway to investigate and it ended up belonging to the neighbors next door ( according to them, some kid had stolen it from their car ). And when you thought things couldn't get more exciting, the fire truck got stuck in our yard while trying to leave and they had to pull it out with a logging chain. This, of course, caused ditches to be formed in both our yard and the neighbors', but never fear! Hubby was near and fixed everything all up. WHAT a day! :) Clint enjoyed the whole "show" from the deck while eating Cheerios in his walker. Poor kid.....he'll never have a normal life with parents like us. :)
All for now! Hope ya'll enjoy this last day of February.....can't believe it's nearly over! :S

Mismatched PJ's, missing sock, sippy cup in hand, Mommy's cookbooks on the floor....just a typical Saturday morning at our house. Clint is really keeping me on my toes. He still isn't walking ( although he's trying ), but that does NOT hinder his mischief in the least. If he can reach it, he's dumping it out, tearing it up, playing with it, etc. Just wait until little brother joins him. :)
February hasn't been as busy as last month, but the Lord still has blessed us with meetings every Sunday and Wednesday of this month......just not as far away. Today, we have a birthday party for my SIL and a missions conference later on this evening.
The weather has been absolutely GORGEOUS these last few days. Can you believe that I actually wore flip-flops out the other day? I'm LOVING it!! Can't wait til spring!
One more piece of news before I close.......I'm going to be an aunt for the first time!! A special congratulations to my brother Stephen and his wife Becky. Their baby is due to be born just 6-7 weeks after ours. So exciting!
All for now! Need to peel some potatoes for tomorrow's dinner. Have a great weekend!

....................BOY!!! Yes, it looks like Clint will have a little brother and that I will now be WAY out numbered. :) That's OK though, I'll still have fun taking care of my men and being the only girly-girl of the house.
Please continue to pray for us though. They're sending me to a specialist because the baby is measuring small. It has me kind of worried, but I know God is able to make everything be OK.
