Homemade Carrot Baby Food

I got a free bag of Earthbound Farms carrots a week or two ago and today's "experiment" was making homemade baby food for Clint.
I peeled, washed, and chopped them first and then boiled them on the stove-top until tender. Next, I drained the water and dumped them into the blender where I pureed them. I chose the cubed freezing method and plan on storing the cubes in freezer bags once frozen. Hopefully, it will turn out OK. If not, at least I tried something new. :)

This is great, Courtney. Did you feed any to Clint before freezing them?

No, but hope to try them later.

I used the cube freezing method when Megan was a baby. It worked out great. I did carrots, sweet potatoes and then a mix of brocolli & carrots. She loved it!

Hope Clint likes the carrots, let us know!!

My DIL did the same thing...she added cinnamon, and they smelled so wonderful. However, that didn't entice me to eat of them!

Good to see you blogging again.
